June Box Of Dread...

So unfortunately this is gonna be my last BOD post for a couple months. With getting ready to move I have to cancel my subscription for the time being. That said there was some kinda cool items in this months box but nothing I really would have rushed out to get. I joined BOD for the unique promo items and though there was one this month I am pretty sure it is not a rare item. So here is the box...

 First off there where 2 small Godzilla minis. Not really a huge Godzilla fan but they are kinda cool. Probably will open them up and stick em on my desk once we move...

Next they sent a couple Pacific Rim items. Now I have not seen this movie due to everyone telling me how bad it was but someday I may get around to it.

The dog tags on top are a nice heavy metal tag.

Next we got 2 little zombie treat/popcorn type boxes. These are kinda cool but not at all something I feel is worth my time or money...

My favorite item this month is a thermal mug from the new Showtime program Penny Dreadful...

Kinda a cool mug but not something rare. I am pretty sure you could buy these on the Showtime website if ya wanted one :P

May Box Of Dread...

So yea...There were a few complainers about the size of this Months Box Of Dread but I am totally stoked on what's inside. Sure there are a few less items but the quality is superior to some of the past boxes I have received. If you hate the box so much Unsub and let those of us who like it enjoy it without all the whining.

 So the first thing I see in this box is a MASSIVE sticker. We are talking bigger than my whole hand LOL. Not sure where this is from but whatever I got a wicked awesome huge Zombie head LOL.

Next is a Scream Factory keychain. Kinda cool. These guys have been re-releasing some really great B Movie films over the last few years or so. Great to see a company keeps gems such as the original Sleepaway camp alive.

Next up I got a pack of Fangoria trading cards. As usual I didnt open these. I got so many packs of horror cards though I need to find something to do with them. Thinking of maybe decoupaging a shelf for all my horror goodies with them. I know I am like the gothic Martha Stewart LOL.

 And finally...The piece D Resistance in this box....

  Fuck yes!! I got a Pennywise FULL SIZE POP vinyl figure!!! How badass is that!!

 Honestly...I am kinda missing the horror movie promo type items that got me to sign up for the box originally but I still love the box over all. And the CS department is always there for you! Keep up the great work!

April Box Of Dread...

Seriously love this month's Box Of Dread. Each months so far has been better than the next! You will however be kinda surprised at what my favorite item this month was...

Aint that a great little haul!! This month kinda cemented the fact I will be sticking with the service for awhile :)

 First up just a simple little filler item...Horror decor matches. These guys just started selling horror theme candles and I need to pick up a few to use these on :P

Next is a little pocket hand sanitizer promo from Oculus. I am dying to see this movie but I been slacking LOL. Side note I kinda love the fact this is a fact dispenser cause I can stick it in my back pocket for concerts ;)

Next we have a pack of American horror Story trading cards. I love this show so this is perfect. My favorite season so far is Asylum but the new season is supposed to be Freakshow and I can't wait!!

This item is pretty cool actually. It is a box of "Serial Killers." Just one of those little variety pack style cereal boxes redone with a horror theme. Inside the box was a set of cards (I didnt open them), 2 special silver spoon glitter cards, & an eyeball gumball. Pretty cool goodies but the package alone sold me.

This was the "big" item in the box. A Funko Mystery mini from The Walking Dead Series 2.

You know I hadda open this to see if it was Daryl LOL. Sadly it was not but Rick is pretty Badass too!

Finally what oddly was my favorite item in the box...A button LMAO. No but seriously...I am damn proud to be a Gore Whore and I freakin love it!!!

March Box Of Dread...

I know I know...I been slacking getting this post up but My BOD happened to come around the time I was out of town for a few concerts and I just been crazy busy since then. I was crazy happy with my box this month. The owner really listens to our feedback and tries to send out the best items possible each month. So if you havent yet be sure and sign up for Box of Dread today. April's sign ups are closed so if you sign up now it will be for May's Box.

So here is what came in this month's box...

Pretty awesome eh....First of all they were promoting the new flick Chasity bites. Now I havent gotten a chance to check this out but I am looking forward to it. Check out the Trailer...

So they sent me a sticker and the film poster. I freaking love the artwork on this! I think I may need to frame this one eventually.

Next there was a pack of Little Shop Of Horrors vintage trading cards...

Then a brand new copy of the super awesomely bad "kiddie" horror film The Willies. (Think Goosebumps before RL Stine was a big name.) Best part about this film is when the kids are talking to their friend played by Sean Astin. There is a part where they say something out playing pirates in caves. And who doesn't love a good Goonies reference LOL.

Finally the "Big" Item for this months box....Walking Dead Mini Mates!! I havent decided where I wanna put these guys yet but how awesome are they!! I got Hooded Michonne & Gabe.

February Box Of Dread...

Ok so I gotta be honest and tell you I am a bit underwhelmed with this month's Box Of Dread. There are a few good items in the box however I know some subscribers did get this items other months and I myself would have been upset to get the same thing again. I do hope there is a system in place to keep track of who receives what just in case. Another kinda bummer...I just got my BOD today...2/27.  So yea....This month's box took a little long to get here in my opinion. 

That said the owner did keep us well informed for the most part to let us know what was going on with shipments. I understand that running a one man show is tough and I am cool with waiting it's just kinda a bummer you know. There was a letter from the owner in this box explaining all the issues and such this month and I think that showed wonderful customer care.

And on with the goodies...

 

First I got a HP Lovecraft Mouse Pad. It's nice quality and I really dig but I know this is an item that has been in past boxes. Lucky for me I am a recent subscriber and missed
out so I am super stocked I got one.

Next we have a couple items...On top we have a Business card and ACEO size card from the artist Sketch. This is an artist I have know for awhile now so these are pretty cool actually. I am thinking the ACEO with frame up quite nice. You could use it as a postcard too but I like it too much to send it out LOL.

On the bottom they sent 2 good guys doll battery stickers. I am a HUGE Child's Play fan cause I love how cheesy the films are. So yea pretty cool...just gotta find someplace to stick em. Downside...Again I know these have been in past month's boxes and I worry about getting repeats over the course of time.

 

Finally I got this wicked little guy. This is really the kinda items I am looking for in a a box. Personally I am not the hugest Twilight Zone fan but it is an awesome item to find in my box for sure! This is a mini monitor bobble head of Mystic Seer from Twilight Zone. Now while I mentioned I am not a massive fan of the show I am totally obsessed with Carnival/Freak show memorabilia so this is just perfect!

Over all so far I am still super happy with this box and service. You definitely get  what you pay for in the box. And having an owner that is so vocal and keeps us well updated it really nice. Good customer service would actually keep me subscribed even if I had a few weak boxes. Keep up the amazing work Box Of Dread!!

January Box Of Dread...

It's Here It's Here!!! Finally I got my first Box Of Dread!!

 How freakin awesome is all this!! The box is only $20 a month and shipping is free! (Or they have a 3 Month Subscription, Both types auto renew when the term is up) Not sure why I did it but I put off subscribing last month and now I wish I wouldn't have. But this moth is awesome so woohoo!

Now don't kill me but I am really not into the whole Sci-Fi/Horror kinda thing. I just like my horror to be straight up blood and guts is all. So these first 2 items are cool but they are just not really my speed of things...

First we have a set of Terminator Judgement Day trading cards. Now I never got much into trading cards because I am the asshole that has to collect everything from a series and that is just a lot of effort. Super cool subject matter though. I didnt open the package on these...

Next up is this super cool Action figure of Ash from Alien. Again I am not opening the  package but his arms and legs are articulated. This guys selling price covered the cost of box by its self.

 Next are my favorite items....Swag from Insidious 2. I know I know...I havent seen it quite yet but it's on my to do list LOL. I did love the first film and have heard good things about 2.

First there was a collapse-able water bottle. These are actually nice when we start heading to the summer music festivals since they fit in almost anything pockets included.

And my absolute favorite item in the box...An Insidious 2 lantern! Now I never gotta be ascared of the dark again LOL

Anyway if you or one of your loved ones is a huge horror fan you just gotta check out Box Of Dread.
